Privacy Policy

How MMOY collects, uses and protects information when you use our website, apps and services.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

1.About this policy

My Memories Of You ("MMOY", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you interact with our services, including our website, mobile apps, Photo Books experiences, and related digital products (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our Services.

2.Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Account and contact details you provide — such as your name, email address, and similar details when you create an account, contact us, or make a purchase.
  • Billing and transaction details needed to process payments and fulfil Photo Book or other product orders.
  • Technical and device information automatically collected when you use the Services — such as browser type, device model, operating system, IP address, app version, and usage statistics. This may include a unique device identifier or push notification token used to deliver notifications you have enabled.
  • Cookies and similar technologies on our website, as described in the Cookies section and in our cookie preferences controls.

3.Family content you choose to store

MMOY is a private family memory product. When you use the Services, you and people you invite may choose to upload or create content such as:

  • Photos and videos
  • Voice recordings
  • Written memories and captions
  • Information about people who appear in memories
  • Memory Book organisation and related metadata
  • Comments and shared contributions from family members you invite
  • Photo Book designs created from eligible Memory Book content

This family content is used to provide the MMOY service you requested — including storing, organising, sharing within your chosen access boundaries, and (where you choose) creating Photo Books. We do not treat your family memories as public social content.

4.How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Process payments and fulfil transactions
  • Communicate with you about support, account, and service-related matters
  • Send promotional updates only where permitted and where you have not opted out
  • Personalise aspects of your experience within the product
  • Understand how the website and product are used (including via analytics, where you have consented to optional analytics cookies)
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights

5.How information may be shared

We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Services (for example hosting, email delivery, payment processing, print fulfilment, and analytics — subject to your cookie choices where applicable).
  • With family members or collaborators you choose to invite or grant access to within MMOY.
  • When required by law or in response to valid legal requests from authorities.
  • In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where information may transfer as part of that transaction.

6.Service providers

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate MMOY. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations appropriate to the service they provide. Examples include cloud hosting and database providers, transactional email delivery, payment processors, print and fulfilment partners for Photo Books, and analytics providers when you have consented to analytics cookies.

7.Payments

When you make a purchase (for example a Photo Book order or subscription-related payment), payment details are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on MMOY systems. Payment providers process your payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.

8.Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies to make the website work and to remember essential settings. With your permission, we may also use optional cookies for preferences, analytics, and marketing.

You can Accept all, Reject optional, or Manage preferences using our cookie banner and the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Necessary cookies do not depend on consent. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are not loaded until you allow the relevant category.

9.Notifications

We may send push or in-product notifications to keep you informed about activity you care about — for example new memories, comments, sharing updates, Photo Book progress, or support updates — where you have enabled those notifications.

You can manage or disable notifications in your device or product settings. We do not sell notification-related data to third parties for advertising.

10.Data retention

We retain account information and family content for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. If you delete content or close your account, we will delete or de-identify information in line with our operational deletion processes and any legal retention requirements.

11.Security

We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Private family media is protected and delivered through authorised access controls.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Access — request access to personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request deletion of personal data, subject to legal restrictions
  • Opt-out — opt out of marketing communications or certain processing activities where applicable

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact us section or via the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

13.Children's privacy and safety

MMOY is designed for adult account holders who preserve family stories. Adults may store memories, photos, videos, voice recordings, and written context that relate to children in their family. That family content is uploaded and managed by adult users under their account and sharing choices — it is not the same as MMOY creating accounts for children or soliciting personal information directly from children.

We do not knowingly allow children to create MMOY accounts. If you believe a child has created an account or provided account registration information directly to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on the platform. This includes sharing, promoting, or soliciting child sexual content, grooming, exploitation, or any attempt to engage with minors in an inappropriate manner. Users who violate this policy may be suspended or removed and may be reported to appropriate authorities as required by law.

We aim to comply with applicable child-protection laws relevant to our Services. Specific statutory interpretations (including COPPA, GDPR-K, and other regimes) should be confirmed with legal counsel for your operating jurisdictions.

14.International users and transfers

MMOY may be accessed from outside the country where our primary systems are hosted. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be processed in countries that have different data-protection laws from your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

16.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the last-updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

17.Contact us
