What we hope they will remember about this ordinary, overcrowded, luminous year — and why that hope is already a kind of love
A long title, on purpose, so we can see how the journal and the editor behave when a headline runs on.

This paragraph is intentionally long. It is here so we can see how a generous line-length, a warm page, and a patient type size hold a thought that does not hurry. Families do not speak in bullets. They speak in the run-on sentences of a life that is still happening: the school bag by the door, the birthday that arrived too quickly, the grandparent who told the same story twice and was loved more, not less, for doing so. A journal page should be able to carry that without looking busy, clever, or designed-within-an-inch-of-its-life.
A second paragraph follows, because rhythm matters as much as width.
